Tommy Baker, HIS
Hearing Instrument Specialist
Tommy was born in Charleston, SC and raised in England. He later returned to the USA where he graduated from The Citadel, the Military College of South Carolina. He is a former US Army officer, Assistant Director of Admissions and Recruiting at The Citadel, and National Sales Director for a division of Blue Cross Blue Shield.
Tommy is married to Lynne. They have 3 grown children and 1 grandchild. They are a husband and wife team and have been in the hearing industry and private practice since 2003. Tommy has undergone intense training and coursework to gain full knowledge of hearing aid technology, testing, and hearing aid fittings. He is committed to helping the hearing impaired which is evident in the dedication and care he provides to every patient.
Lynne Baker, HIS
Hearing Instrument Specialist
Lynne was born, raised and educated in the United Kingdom, and has lived in the United States for over 28 years. Tommy & Lynne are a husband & wife team and have 3 grown children and 1 grandson. They both have a passion for the outdoors, love to travel and explore new countries and cuisine.
They have been in the hearing industry since 2003 in private practice and have had the pleasure of serving their community in the tri county area during this time. Lynne has many years of experience in the Hearing Aid Industry and understands the challenges facing many patients. She is committed to helping the hearing-impaired reach their maximum potential, through hearing aid evaluations, fittings, follow-up care and assisted listening products. Lynne is diligent is staying up to date on the latest technology for her patients and her passion for customer care and patient treatment is unparalleled and makes it her personal mission that every patient is treated with the very best care and satisfaction.
Sarah joined Palmetto Hearing Healthcare Center in 2017. She is the Patient Care Coordinator for both locations that assists our patients with first-time visits and their continued care. She tends to the daily running of the office and assists Tommy with coordinating appointments, fittings and any additional patient needs.
She has been in the medical field for the past 8 years but feels like she has truly found a calling in the hearing aid industry. Sarah is currently apprenticing and working toward becoming a certified dispenser.
Sarah and her family have strong ties to the Lowcountry and she has called it home since childhood. She is very proud to be a part of the Charleston community and works hard to ensure all of her patients feel like family. When she is not at the office, Sarah enjoys any time she can be outdoors and loves to camp in the NC Mountains. She has also had a true passion for cooking since childhood and loves sharing her skills with family and friends.
